
My apologies to Carol of mix, mix. . .stir, stir for not participating this week. I appreciated the Q&A and made notes for a time when I do bake this luscious looking cake.
However, I had fun baking French Baguettes from Cook's Illustrated this week. The recipe was published March 1, 2000. The time table is 24 hours, but it took me another 12 hours until ready for baking, so that I wouldn't have them in the middle of the night. Oh well, it was worth it and quite fun. The baquettes were crusty and delicious. I will be baking the brownies for next week. Have a wonderful 4th of July. lola
