I was visiting my grandchildren in Colorado when I made this week's selection. It was chosen by Cathy of The Tortefeasor. The berries were fresh, delicious and reasonable in price, so I went a little wild. I am not sure if I over baked the shortcakes or if the altitude affected the result, but mine were a little dry. I was, also, using an oven that I was not certain of the accuracy of the temperature. Nevertheless, the kids and their friends gobbled it all with great big smiles. Thank you Cathy for your selection.
I am now visiting my other grandchildren in Austin, Texas. Their mommy is having surgery this week after an accident, so I hope I have time to make the delicious sounding Swirl Raisin Bread. Have a good week TWD bakers. lola
